Obituary of Nanette Marie Morrison

Nanette Marie Gallo Morrison, 63, of Stamford, Connecticut, went to her angels on May 31, 2023. She was born on October 14, 1959, in Schenectady, New York, to Donald and Delora (nee Gallo). Nanette was an energetic, passionate, spiritual, and inspirational woman who touched the lives of many. Nanette attended Mont Pleasant High School and later became a merchandise buyer for multiple boutique clothing stores. She also worked at Rapid Press in Stamford for many years. She was a certified Kripalu Yoga instructor for 15 years, which allowed her to share her love of yoga and promote healthy living, as well as cultivate a following from a wonderful group of friends/students. In her free time, Nanette enjoyed playing beach volleyball, biking, traveling, and fine dining. Her love for life was contagious, and she always had a smile on her face. Nanette is survived by her children McKenzie, James, and Kayla, her companion and longtime partner Keith Grimaldi, and her siblings MaryHelen (Dave), Donnie (Chris), Denise (Michael), and Desiree. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Delora. Nanette also leaves behind her former husband Jim Morrison, brother-in-law Shawn, sister-in-law Barb, many nieces and nephews, and countless others who loved and supported her during this most difficult time. Nanette will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
