Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening. But no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten.
Nannette was such a sweet soul. She was kind hearted and caring, encouraging, emotionally and mentally strong, also very welcoming. Her bold personality was something to be admired. She had a larger than life soul.
My brief time with her was memorable as she always tried to make sure that I was comfortable (even though I was there to ensure she was...)
There is so much that I could say, but I'll close by saying:
Grief, I've learned, is really just love.
It's all the love you want to give, but cannot.
All of that unspent love gathers in the corner of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest.
Grief is just love with no place to go

We are so saddened by the entire evolution of Nanette’s passing. She had an indomitable spirit and a quiet humor about her. Her ability to tell an amusing and winding story always entertained. Nanette’s capacity for everyday forgiveness and compassion set an example for all around her. We will miss her dearly.
