Obituary of Robert A Dodd II

Robert Augustus Dodd II, (Robby, Bobby, Buster) age 70, died September 15, 2016 at his home in Rowayton, CT. He was born in Tampa, FL January 28, 1946 to Dorothy Quinn and Robert A. Dodd, and is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diana L. Mayes, niece Allison Dodd McPherson and husband Doug McPherson, and grandnephew and grandniece Matthew and Audrey McPherson. He was predeceased by his brother Harry Dodd. Bobby served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era and after his discharge lived in San Francisco, Tampa, and New York City moving to Rowayton, CT in 1994. He worked as a restoration craftsman and artisan restoring historical apartment buildings and as a real estate consultant to CentRe Mortgage Capital. Bobby was skipper of the sailboat Raisuli, appreciated classic movies, and was a trivia player extraordinaire. A Celebration of Bobby will be at his home, 269 Rowayton Ave, on October 1 at 2:00pm.
