Dear Ambassador Niles, John Thomas and Mary Chapman. It is with profound sadness that I just noted the passing of Mrs. Niles last June. Please accept my deepest condolences. May Mrs. Miles rest in peace. I have very happy memories of the time we spent together in Ottawa during your tenure as United States Ambassador to Canada.
