Obituary of Kenneth John Fitts

Kenneth John Fitts of Stamford and Trumbull was called to heaven at the age of 50 on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He passed away peacefully at the Veterans Affair Hospital in West Haven surrounded by his family and friends. Kenneth was born in Stamford on April 29, 1964 to John and Audrey Ann (Flynn) Fitts. He is survived by his parents and his four loving daughters Jennifer, Jessica, Jordan and Jenna and his three grandchildren Kenny, Audriana and Mariana. Besides his parents and children, he is predeceased by his sister, Kathy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Kenny served in the United States Navy. Upon leaving the Navy he then established his many successful businesses; KD3J and PKF Landscaping. He was truly a hard worker, an outstanding family man and best friend. He provided unconditional love for his daughters and grandchildren. He always put his family before everything else. He was very proud of every one of his children and grandchildren, bragging about them often. Kenny was a phenomenal father, son, nephew, cousin and friend. He was a kind, generous, loving and giving person; an amazing man with a great spirit. He loved life and all it had to offer. His love for travel and exploration is evident by the many vacations that he and his children went on. His most visited vacation spot was Disney World, his "happy place". He was a man of his word, respect and devotion. He would give you the shirt off his back; always there to help and provide support to all that knew him. His outgoing personality and humorous spirit was unprecedented. When it came to Kenny's family and friends he went above and beyond to help them in their time of need. He had the biggest heart and compassion for all. Kenny was admired and respected by all that knew him. His children and grandchildren were his life; he loved them to the moon and back. He is loved and will be deeply missed by all. The interment will be private. A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
