Obituary of Martha N. Hurley

HURLEY – Martha Nold, 96, of Stamford, wife of the late James L. Hurley of Greenwich, dear stepmother of Joanna Hurley of Sante Fe, NM, and beloved friend of Janet and Emery Filmer of Trumbull, died on Aug. 31. Born in New York City, she enjoyed a lengthy career in public relations with the Today Show in New York and with Champion Paper in Stamford. She will be missed for her strength of character and generous heart.
