Obituary of Robert E. Berwick

Robert E. Berwick passed away peacefully at home in Greenwich, CT on April 24, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1937 in White Plains, New York to John and Irene Berwick. He graduated from White Plains High School in 1955, and was soon employed by Westchester Electronics in White Plains where he met the love of his life, his wife Marge. They were married in 1958. Bob served in the U.S. Army in Verdun, France from 1960 - 1962. They bought their first home in Valhalla, NY in 1968, where they lived and raised their son, Rob. In 1989 they moved to Greenwich. CT to be closer to Wise Components where he was a partner and Vice President of Sales until his retirement in 1997. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed participating in sports throughout his life. During his retirement he especially enjoyed tennis and golf. He was pre-deceased by his twin brother Kenneth Berwick, and his three sisters; June Taylor, Helen Omansiek, and Dorothy Benedetto. Bob is survived by Marge Berwick, his wife of 65 years, and his son Robert A. Berwick, of Greenwich, CT, his sister-in-law, Theresa Napolitano of Tarrytown, NY and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob will be remembered as a thoughtful, kind and cherished husband, father and friend. The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at Constellation and the Hospice nurses and aides at the Constellation Agency in Norwalk, CT. for their loving, compassionate care.
