Obituary of Carol L. Bickerstaff

Carol L. Bickerstaff, 75, of Norwalk passed into God's embrace on Thursday, April 06, 2023. She was a member of the Norwalk Community Chorale for over 25 years, where she sang as a Tenor. She held multiple positions on the chorale board & loved her chorale family. Carol loved singing, gardening, decorating for holidays, flower arranging and all types of artistic endeavors. Her ultimate passion was her teaching vocation, as it was much more than a job. Carol's students continued to keep in touch with her throughout the years, sharing their lives and families. Carol made a difference. Carol is survived by three siblings, Robert Takacs Jr. of New Mexico, Lawrence Takacs of Maryland, Barbara Edwards of Norwalk, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her loving mother Helen Takacs, father Robert B. Takacs and sibling Steven Takacs. Memorial donations may be made to the "Norwalk Community Chorale, Inc.", P.O.
