I was so saddened to hear that Bob died.
We had a lot of laughs and shared some great memories together. He taught me about wine, taught me how to cook some great Italian dishes, took me to some the best restaurants in my hometown of NYC and even took me to Europe. He was generous and kind and taught me many things about business. He loved to laugh. He was very funny and was always smiling and that’s how I’ll remember Bob. Rest In Peace.

I first me Bob in 1977 at Harris Bank and we remained friends for 46 years.Bob provided me with professional mentorship and great career opportunities that lasted 43 years at BMO/Harris. I also met my wife of 37 years via Bob as she was working for him at the time. Our tireless relationship provided endless good times. Good friends are for keeps and we definitely kept it going. Thank you Bob. We will miss you dearly. RIP Tom A.

We joined Bank of America down in the Wall Street area together in 1970 and have been best friends since- over 50 years. Bob taught me how to cook Italian, introduced me to Port wine and cigars at Smith and Wolensky and to all the best restaurants in midtown. One was never with Bob when you weren’t laughing, having a good time and enjoying life. For a lot of years, Bob, my father and I (photo) watched football together every Sunday along with a “dish of spaghetti” and lots of red wine; always the perfect day. I have so many great memories of my friend and stories I tell people today because they’re highlights of my life as well. A toast to a real good guy!
