Obituary of Mary L. Stewart

Mary L. Stewart, 81, a resident of Fairfield, CT passed away peacefully at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation on May 30. She was the daughter of the late Marion and William Waring Sr. Mary was born September 28, 1940, in Stamford, CT. She loved bowling, knitting, puzzles and reading. She retired from the Stamford DMV and moved to Essex, MD, then back to her home state of CT. Mary is survived by her daughter, Arline Clayburn (Malvin) of Bridgeport, CT and four sons, Audey and Jonathan Murphy of Middle River, MD, Timothy (Roxanne) and Michael Murphy of Baltimore, MD, as well as her grandchildren Shaina Murphy of Bridgeport, CT, Jasmine and Lucas Murphy and Marie Koontz (Branden) of Middle River, MD, Thomas Murphy of Riverview, FL, Jonathan Murphy, Jr of York, PA, as well as great grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Arthur Murphy, Jr and grandson Gary Murphy. A celebration of life will be held June 25 in Maryland and burial will be private.
