Obituary of Vita Maria Rieger

Vita Maria Rieger, 63, of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at home with her family, after battling lung cancer. Vita was born on November 27, 1958 to Anthony and Luisa Guglielmo of Stamford, CT. Vita enjoyed her daily yoga routine, she was a doula for many years, she spent her summers sailing, hiking, traveling to Robert Moses Beach and visiting Mystic, CT. As a Christian she participated in Tres Dias, was a Eucharistic Minister and a Lector of the Word of God. Vita was predeceased by her father Anthony Guglielmo, survived by her mother, Luisa Guglielmo, sister, Tina Guglielmo, Ex-Husband, James Rieger, daughters, Shannon Guglielmo and Rachel Rieger, along with her five grandchildren, Bryanna Montalvo (20), Madison Montalvo (10), Thomas Callow (3), John Callow (1), Jacob Diaz (4 months). Family, friends and all others whose lives Vita touched, may join for her memorial service on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 at 10:30am. Burial will be private.
