Obituary of Minnie (James) Lee

MINNIE (JAMES) LEE Sunrise June 2, 1921 – Sunset June 7, 2021 Minnie (James) Lee was a lifelong resident of Norwalk, CT, most recently a resident of Brightview on New Canaan. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to Minnie and Simon James on June 2, 1921. Minnie was the third of six children. Minnie was a lifelong member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she had many friends that supported her spiritually through her life. She was full of whit and always sharing pearls of wisdom. She enjoyed laughing and joking with her young friends and baking blueberry muffins for her ‘special’ friends. She is predeceased by her parents Minnie and Simon James and her five siblings, Simon James, Jr., Almeda Wilkerson from Montclair, NJ and Edna Gardner, Grace Hubbard, and Herbert James all of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Minnie is also predeceased by her husband Fred Lee a former truck driver and WHEELS bus driver. Minnie and Fred would have been married 73 years on July 3. Minnie is survived by her daughter Robbin Lee and grandson Brandon Thomas of Roswell, Georgia.
