Robert Foley, Jr.

Obituary of Robert William Foley, Jr.

Robert William Foley, Jr. 83 of Weston CT, and occasionally Killington VT, said his final "cheers” on 02.21.2021. A second incurable cancer took him quickly. He was with his son, holding his daughter-in-law’s hand, and had just heard his daughter wish him good night. Bob (A.K.A. RW, Red, Bearded, Fluffy, downhill, Daddy, Bobcat, Grandpa, HairyMan…) was born in Cambridge MA on 07.07.1937. He is survived by his son Tim, daughter Reen, grandkids Tim and Cassie, brothers Dave and Steve, as well as in-laws Monique, Richard, Paula and Marcia. He will be missed by an extended family too strong and too large to truly comprehend. Whichever endearment you used to address him, the man was a legend. Bearded lived life on his own terms. He went to college in Michigan to join the corporate world… then left it. ;-D A little bird told him money is not the base of wealth, friendships are! Fluffy left this world on his own terms, too: he had a party that took longer than a week for everyone that wanted to toast him; and a final wish to have his ashes spread at the Jacksonville Budweiser Brewery (probably in late May, stay tuned). He flew away peacefully after a generous and comfortable good time at the house. Please remember the dear Fairfield County Hospice House at 1 Den Rd. Stamford CT 06902, that took Dad in on charity. There will be an outdoor celebration of his life on July 10, 2021 at his home of 43+ years, the original WWW location, 10 Wagon Wheel Lane, Weston CT 06883 (newly remodeled). You can contact his children: Reen Foley, 1330 Broward Rd, Jacksonville FL 32218 Tim Foley, 60 Blue Ridge Rd, Wilton CT 06897
