Obituary of Robert J Lichtenberger

At the age of 84, Robert Lichtenberger died Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital. He was the son of Paul and Ann Lichtenberger. Robert is survived by his wife Dorothy of 60 years, his sons, Kurt and Paul, his sister Marion Theriault, and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother Paul. He grew up in Milford, CT and served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 ½ years. Robert worked for the city of Norwalk in the Norwalk Dept. of Health for 36 years and retired as Chief Sanitarian. He enjoyed gardening, reading, and learning foreign languages, especially German. There are no calling hours.
