Anne was a friend of my mother’s, they were in a goddess group together facilitated by the also recently departed Kathie Carlson. For months my mum has been talking about wanting to visit with Anne and had been reaching out and reaching out, hoping to get to share some time with her. She baked her a cake for her birthday this year but then fell ill and didn’t want to bring it over sick. Turns out this must have been right around when Anne died. So sorry to hear of her passing. For my own part, I found her to be a very charming and generous person who clearly appreciated and cultivated beauty. When I was small and we went over to her house for a goddess group gathering or potluck, she often gave me a beautifully illustrated children’s book and a special snack. When I saw her last (with Kathie) at Bloodroot restaurant (a favorite haunt) she was very warm and lovely as usual. Sending big hugs up to the sky.
