I chose to reflect on my Aunt ‘Rene’s personality. She always had a twinkle in her eye which mirrored the kind & gentle soul that resided within her person. THAT is how she continues to live on in my memory & in the fondness I feel in my heart.
She loved her family and she also was loved throughout 96 years spent here with us (a marathon by today’s standards).
I wish to extend sincere condolences to my Cousins:
Jim, Winston, & Bonita as well as to their respective families.
Grieving will subside after awhile, & as difficult as it may seem, strive to keep your mother’s spirit alive.
Find peace in knowing that she has been reunited with those dearly departed ones who have traveled on ahead of her.
Hopefully, she can rest now & be without pain for all eternity.
All of us will truly miss her!

Having worked for Winston for many years, I came to admire the work ethic, brains, and humanity that he must have learned from his parents.
He told me many Irene and Bill stories that really did illustrate important points in today's crazy times.

I would like to extend, to the family of Mrs. Maddox, my deepest sympathy at this most trying time. I had the pleasure of being welcomed into the home of both Mr. and Mrs. Maddox while attending school in Hartford, CT.. Its been well over 40 years since that visit and I still remember your mother and father's kindness.
May we find comfort in the memory of such a fine lady.
Sincerely,
Linda LaFate Mosley
