Obituary of Richard S. Horelick

Richard "Rit" Stanley Horelick, 71, of Norwalk, passed away Sunday April 6, surrounded by his loving family. Rit was born April 23, 1943 in Brooklyn NY, to the late Stanley and Elenore Horelick. He was survived by and amazing family. First, his beautiful wife; Marie Horelick, a son and daughter-in-law; Alex and Christine Horelick, a daughter and grandson; April and Connor Horelick, and a brother and sister, all of Norwalk. Rit will be sadly missed by his friends Bob Walsh, Anthony Torre, and a good friend of 25 years, Bill W. As a master plumber for 50 years, Rit was Mr. Fix-it for many family and friends. He was an avid fisherman, and always looked forward to opening day of the fishing season. On a summer morning, you could find him sitting at a picnic table at Shady Beach, enjoying a coffee, watching the water and feeding the gulls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday April 14, 2014 at 12 pm, at St. Philip RC Church, Norwalk CT. Arrangements under the direction of Nutmeg State Cremation Society, Stamford.
