Obituary of Theresa Bernadine Anderson

Terry Anderson passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on November 29, 2017 at the age of 85.   Born in Long Beach, CA to Bernice Pell and Joseph St. Laurent, Terry spent the majority of her life living and working in the Bronx, NY while raising her family on City Island, and rooting for the Yankees. In 1990 after her husband of 41 years passed, Terry moved to Stamford, CT where she reinvented herself, working and living a full life.

Predeceased by her husband Sylvester (Sonny) and recently, her sons Robert and Michael, Terry will be very much missed by her sons Mark Anderson of the Bronx, NY, Kenny Anderson of Stamford, CT and her daughter, Susan Moley of New Canaan, CT; also her sisters, Cord Johnson, Robin DuBay and her brother, Joseph St. Laurent and their families, who loved her dearly.

Her long life, strong family values and wonderful sense of humor blessed her with a close family and many friends where love and laughter were always at hand.  Terry’s legacy of extended family includes 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, who loved and cherished her.

A memorial service to honor Terry’s life will be held at 10:30 am at Saint Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry St, New Canaan, CT on December 16, 2017.
