Obituary of John D Evans, Sr.

      John David Evans Sr, 71, of Stamford passed away peacefully on July 30th, 2017 at Stamford Hospital. John was born in Stamford Ct to June Prindle Canino and stepfather Nick Canino on June 14th, 1946. He attended Stamford public schools. John also served in the US Army’s Tank Division in Germany during the Vietnam War. After his service, he joined the Charter Oak Motorcycle Club for many years. He also Married his loving wife Diane Burns Evans for many years.  He also retired from his work at “WorldPac”.  John was predeceased by his parents and sister Nicole Canino. In addition to his loving wife, John is survived by his children Mark and Karen Evans of Norwalk, CT. John D. Evans Jr. of Salisbury, CT.  Nick and Leslie Evans of Rye, NY.  Terri Evans of Stamford, CT. and 4 wonderful Grandchildren, Justin, Cristina, Samantha and Amanda Evans. His Sisters Pat Anderson of New Mexico and Jackie Canino Tartell of Orangeburg, SC. As well as many nieces and nephews.
