Obituary of Donald A. Ormsbee

Donald A. Ormsbee, of Norwalk, CT died peacefully surrounded by his family, March 8, 2014. He was 66 years old. Donald was born on August 13, 1947, in Norwalk, CT son to the late George and Carol (Luciano) Ormsbee of New Canaan, CT. Donald grew up in Stamford and had a long career in the autobody industry. He had a love of going to the casino, playing golf and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by a daughter Nicole Opalinski (Tom) of Norwalk, a son Scott Ormsbee (Lynn) of Stratford, six grandchildren Olivia, Zachary, Kiley, Aiden, Jagger and Carter, two brothers Dwight Ormsbee and Bruce Ormsbee both of Norwalk, two sisters Deborah Dupee and Sharon Kempf both of New Canaan, several nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial mass will be held Friday, March 14, 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Church 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, CT. Arrangements entrusted to Nutmeg State Cremation Society, Stamford.
