While sorting thru old pictures I came across one of a beautiful Diane, taken ca. 1954. Googling Diane brought me, sadly, here. After meeting at Holdenesss, we exchanged letters until ca 1958, when I married, about the same time Diane married C.L. Shumway.
Bruce Freedman's Facebook page mentions that Diane suffered during her final illness. I was distressed to learn that. My sincere condolences to all of her family.
