Obituary of Katharine Steinmetz

Katharine B. Steinmetz passed away peacefully at The Connecticut Hospice in Branford on September 19, 2016, at the age of 64. Katharine was a 1969 graduate of Staples High School in Westport, CT. Her friendly personality served her well as a customer service representative for many years. Later, she became a certified medical assistant, and also enjoyed helping others as a home health aide. Her fondest memories were of living in California, where she'd hoped to return one day, and family vacations at Yosemite National Park. She will be most fondly remembered for her boundless energy, bubbly personality, and her eternally youthful spirit. Katharine, daughter of Warren H. and Katharine B. Steinmetz, is survived by her mother, as well as her brother Warren and sister-in-law Sally, brother Robert and sister-in-law Lori, niece Sarah, nephew Chris, and dear friend Bob Morin. In keeping with Katharine's private nature, a small gathering of immediate family will take place to celebrate her life. The family asks anyone who knew Katharine to please honor her memory by keeping her in their hearts and prayers.
