Obituary of Francis A DeMarkey Jr

Frank Anthony DeMarkey, Jr. 86 passed away peacefully at his home in Stamford, CT on September 17, 2016. He was born on April 12, 1930 to Frank A. and Genevieve DeMarkey, Sr who predeceased him.  Frank grew up in Greenwich graduating from Greenwich High School.  Frank joined the Navy/Submarine Division in Groton, CT.  After discharge he joined IBEW Local #501.  He was an electrician for many years.  He obtained his Master Electrician's License State of CT and in 1979 he opened his own electrical business, FAD Electric, Inc. He was an avid skeet shooter.  He loved to cook and in his retirement years his hobby was woodworking making many beautiful pieces of furniture for his family. Frank is survived by his wife Justine, five sons and one daughter; Frank A III and his wife Johanna of Enola, PA, Michael and Barbara of Stratford, CT, Matthew and Debbie of Greenwich, CT, Philip and Charlene of Stamford CT, Paul of West Hadley, MA and Justine Gubitose and her husband William of Norwalk, CT. He also is survived by five grandchildren. Jason, Christopher, Brittany, Samantha and Matthew James DeMarkey.  Two step grandchildren William Gubitose, Ryan Egan and two step great grandchildren Connor and Ellie Egan. The DeMarkey Family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Santi J. Neuberger, M.D., the doctors and nurses at Stamford Hospital and Masonicare Home Hospice.
