Obituary of Phoebe Watson
Watson, Phoebe F.Phoebe passed away quietly on the evening of September 16, 2016 under a full moon at her home in Stamford, Connecticut at the young age of 59. At her side was her greatest love and devoted husband of 35 years, D. Drew Ehleben. She was born on November 8, 1956 to Dori and Bill Watson. Raised in Banksville, New York, Phoebe graduated early from Byram Hills High School in 1974. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree from SUNY Purchase, majoring in art history. She was especially proud of her time as the manager of the UCONN bookstore branch in Stamford, serving the students and faculty with a rare devotion. She loved to bake and filled the house with wonderful aromas and our bellies with her delicious treats. A passionate water colorist, she leaves a thoughtful and sometimes whimsical legacy.
