Obituary of Harvey Blomberg
Harvey Blomberg of Wilton passed away Saturday May 7, 2016 at home. He fought a courageous battle with metastasize kidney cancer for 11 ½ years. Mr. Blomberg was a loving a husband to Susan. Harvey was born in NYC on May 7, 1939. He was the son of the late Joseph and Sophia Blomberg. In addition to his wife, Harvey lost his son, Jonathan on 9/11 and has a son, Michael in California. He was grandfather to Alex and Anna Uman , Brother-in-law and wife were Richard and Nancy Beckman, Uncle to Amy Kotler & Eric Beckman. Mr. Blomberg was gifted with the incredible, dedicated, and caring of Craig & Amy Teerlink, his new loving family.
Harvey, a financial wizard, was involved with a diversified number of business enterprises in the private sector throughout his career. He loved education. He graduated from RPI, received an MBA from Hofstra in Business Financial Management, plus post graduate degrees. In his last career effort, he left the private sector & gave back to the public sector working as Regional Director of The Connecticut Small Business Development Center.
