I met Axel with my brother and he was playing ping pong. Axel was so lively for his age and fun to be around. Although I only got to see him twice, I could tell that Axel was an amazing person, he was so dedicated to caring for his mother. Rest in piece Axel, we all miss you.

I was quite fond of Axel, as I met him with his mother while he was playing raquetball against the wall at Julian Curtiss Elementary School, when school was not in session. I would often see him with his mother at Greenwich Point, taking her to the beach and to enjoy nature. He was truly devoted to her and fought all odds to keep her with him as long as God permitted. We just learned of Axel's transcendence into the heaven above, where we are certain he has been reunited with his mother. Axel and his mother will always be truly missed and never forgotten.
With love,
Juliana and Hudson
