Obituary of Charles A Krehel
Charles A. Krehel, age 84, of Easton, passed away peacefully October 15th, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Teresa M. (Daly) Krehel. They were married 60 years. He was born in Stratford to the late John and Mary (Sulik) Krehel and was a lifelong area resident.
Charles had distinguished military service in the army as an adjutant to a general during the Korean Conflict. His siblings, children and grandchildren remember him as a protector and a source of unwavering support and encouragement. He challenged each one to believe in himself and “that any goal is possible.”
Charles touched many lives as a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather and, following retirement, discovered lasting rewards while making a significant impact in his community as a respected teacher and beloved mentor at Joel Barlow High School in Easton.
