Obituary of Donald Anthony Robertson

Donald Anthony Robertson was born in Stamford, Connecticut to Gloria Jean Robertson and Donald Rush on February 8, 1964. He transitioned to his heavenly home on May 31, 2015. Donald had four children; Tavaria Adegbite (Clemence), Cherish Robertson, Josiah Robertson and Jordyn Robertson. Donald was an amazing and loving father and his dedication to his children was unparalleled. Although he only had four biological children over the years he was an active step-father and god- father to many more. Donald was an active member of the community, and was affectionately known around town as "The Elder." He could often be found praying for the sick at hospitals and nursing homes or serving food at the local soup kitchen. Donald truly was a man of God, and if anyone was in need of prayer, words of encouragement, or just a deep spiritual conversation Donald was there. Donald was a member of Church Outside The Box and North Stamford Congregational Church. Donald leaves behind his two sisters, Sonya "Tina" Robertson and LaTasha Scott (Eric) and a nephew Troy Adams II. Donald is preceded into heaven by his parents Gloria Jean and Donald, his younger brother Ronald Boomer and a host of loving relatives. Arrangements under the care of Nutmeg State Cremation Society.
