Obituary of Paul Berg

Paul William Berg, 56, dear husband, loving father, and good friend passed away on September 27, 2014. His passing was at home with closest family near by. His struggle with cancer was long, and those who were close to him knew he gave it his absolute best effort. During his treatments he was remarkably positive, polite, and continued to put others first. He remains in our hearts an excellent blues guitar player, a wonderful father, a loyal Boy Scout leader, a devoted husband, a hardworking church volunteer, an ingenious builder and fixer of anything, and so much more. Through his 30+ years with Mercedes-Benz he gained numerous top awards for his technical excellence -- a testament to his skill. He passed into God's hands much too soon. He will be missed by: his parents Fred and Ida Berg; his sisters Emily Berg Charlton and Laura Berg June, predeceased sister Vera Jean Berg, and their families; and his wife, Gita Grube Berg, and his children Markus William Berg and Nils Magnus Berg.
