Choosing an Urn

Welcome to the Nutmeg State Cremation Society. We offer the best rates for cremation services in Stamford and Fairfield County, Connecticut. We have started out on a mission to make the financial burden lighter for the families who are struggling to give their loved ones a good send-off.

Even simple cremation services can become quite expensive once all the costs are factored in. If you want to know more, have any questions, or want to book a cremation service, you can reach out to us at any time. We are here for you at all times - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A Variety of Urns to Choose From

With our Complete Cremation Service, we will assist you from the beginning to the end. Once the viewing, service, and the cremation is done, the remains can be scattered, buried, or returned to the family. The cremated remains are stored in Urns. These Urns are available in various materials, ranging from cardboard and plastic ones to ones made from metals, ceramics, and wood. Memorial cremation urns act as permanent containers for the remains of the cremated body.

We offer urns made of various materials and styles. You will find them in a wide range of prices as well, depending on the one you want to go for. Based on what you want to use the urn for – scattering, burial, keeping in your house, or for keepsakes – we offer different styles. If you wish to have it on display, we also have urns designed specifically for displays. Most of these urns can be customized with laser designs or with engravings.

Urn Vaults are containers inside which cremation urns are placed. In situations where the family wishes to bury the urn with their loved one’s remains, cemeteries will need an urn vault in order to fulfill the wish. These vaults make sure the urn is not crushed and protects them.

If you have any questions about preplanning or choosing an urn, please contact us at Nutmeg State Cremation Society and we would be happy to get back to you.
